Wildcard combat skills & Techniques

If this is in the books, I missed it. It's fairly common for Supers to take Wildcard fighting skills, heck look at some of the templates in Suoers.
But a recent Pyramid article gave fliers some Martial Styles. Fist!, Throw! and Move! pretty much cover an unarmed flying Super's fighting needs, but these styles have associated techniques. That brings up the question. Do Wildcard skills bypass the requirement that a technique have at least one point invested in it in order to be used? If so, are they known at Wildcard! -penalty or at Wildcard!? If not, shouldn't Technique [3] (*****alent of 1 point in an ordinary technique be something highly recommended? |
